Dr. Alison Drought

N.D.

Dr. Alison Drought is a Naturopathic Doctor. She graduated from CCNM in Toronto, 2001. After completing a bachelor degree, studies of a naturopathic doctor begin by focusing on the basic medical sciences. The treatment modalities differ from traditional studies in that they focus on the use of eastern and western herbs, Chinese medicine, homeopathic medicine, clinical nutrition, physical medicine and lifestyle counseling to balance the body. These are studied over a period of four years, including a residency.

Dr. Drought coordinates a multi-disciplinary clinic called Synergy Wellness Centre in Medicine Hat, AB. She uses a wide diversity of modalities to help her patients achieve optimal health. They range from using herbs, vitamins/minerals, homeopathic remedies or acupuncture to rebalance organ systems. She also uses mind-body medicine to re-balance on an emotional level, and has taken specialized training in intravenous therapies, as well as bio-therapeutic drainage. Dr. Drought believes that true healing comes from addressing a multitude of factors in order to achieve lasting balance.
